So I am brand new to the blogging world. I figured that once our baby girl was born in October, it would be necessary for us to start blogging, so I thought I'd give myself a bit of a headstart. Last night we attended a childbirth education/preparation course. It was quite a lot of information, most of which I had already heard or read, but it was nice to be able to ask the midwife/instructor specific questions about how childbirth is normally handled at the place where I will be delivering our baby. I still feel like I have so much to do before she arrives, and I am running out of time. I must keep working right up until the delivery if I can. I am not too thrilled about that, but I am motivated because I will get my maternity pay for 4 months even though I will not be returning to work (a benefit of having a baby in Switzerland). I know that being a new mom will be extremely tiring, but I am looking forward to this new role in life. I will try to get Brandon to post on here a bit, too. The picture above is from our trip last weekend to Marseille.
