On Friday night, we made a fire by the lake and had sausages and smores with our church friends the Slacks and the Gerhardts. There were swans everywhere and a few came up on the beach, probably wanting some of our food. Here are some more pics:

He always says "cheese" and poses for the camera...so cute!
Everyone was laughing at Brandon for his elaborate sausage-roasting set-up. He planted his stick in the dirt so that he wouldn't have to hold it. Then he would rotate his sausages halfway through to ensure they were thoroughly cooked. He even toasted his buns, as you can see here. Unfortunately, I think he dropped one in the dirt at some point...oh well. We had a great time being outdoors with friends!

Hey Meredith! Hope you are feeling well. Are you coming home to deliver? Tell Brandon his post on mullet snowboarders was funny (but I just skimmed over the science part- too much for prego brain).
