Poor baby
Katherine has been sick with a pretty bad cough and congestion since the weekend. She wasn't running a fever, so I didn't call the doctor initially. Yesterday, though, her cough and congestion were causing her to vomit a lot after she ate, so I called to see if I should go in to see our pediatrician. She told me to come in, especially since Katherine is still so young. Katherine has a case of bronchiolitis which is caused by a virus. There is not much we can do except wait it out, and my pediatrician called a "physiotherapist" (don't know if they have these in the US or if so, what they are called) to come visit us daily and help clear out some of Katherine's congestion. She came last night and this afternoon and seems to be helping a lot. It is especially good because Katherine has not been vomiting any more. We also are going to the pediatrician daily to make sure things are getting better. Today she looked better than yesterday, so hopefully each day we will see some progress. Katherine has been so sweet, even this week in spite of her sickness. She still smiles at me (and others) a lot, and today she even began to laugh. I am so thankful for her and pray she recovers soon.
