Christmas Happenings

I know it has been awhile since I posted, but we have been quite busy with all of our traveling. We were in the US from December 5th until New Year's Day, and we are now readjusting to life back in Switzerland (as some of you might have seen from my Facebook status, babies experience jet-lag too...thankfully last night, although she didn't go to sleep until 11:45, Katherine slept for almost 8 straight hours...YEA!). She is now over 2 months old, and she had another appointment with the pediatrician yesterday that went really well. She is 5.33kg (11 pounds, 12 ounces) and is 59cm (23.2 inches) long. On the growth charts it looked like she was in approximately the 75th percentile for both weight and length. Her head circumference is now 41cm (16.1 inches), which was off of the curve on the chart, meaning she is above the 95th percentile...i.e. she has a big head...which isn't surprising since big heads run in our families. Katherine is smiling and cooing A LOT now, and she is such a sweet baby. We feel so blessed to have been entrusted with her!

Here are some pictures from our trip:

With Brandon's parents.
Katherine in her cute penguin outfit from Aunt Jayme.
My parents with Katherine in one of her Aggie outfits.
Katherine and her cousin Carli in matching dresses.
At her first movie...she did great.
The three of us in Round Rock on Christmas Eve.
My side of the family, including all of the great-grandparents.
At the airport on our way back to Switzerland.

A cute video of Katherine and Carli (7 months).
