On another note, the other day I was reading the stories of some women who had gone through really difficult pregnancies and whose babies had severe health problems, and it made me realize how I tend to take for granted this precious gift that God has given me. I am so very thankful for my health and for the baby's health thus far, and I know that He has protected her and has knit her together all along the way. Life is such a miracle, and I cannot wait to meet our little girl face to face. It could be any day now. I went to see my doctor on Friday, and he said everything looked good. He is on vacation this week (returning October 25th), but he said he didn't think she would arrive before his return... I guess we'll have to wait and see. My mom is arriving on October 28th, and Brandon and I are looking forward to seeing her and to having some extra help for the first few weeks. Here is a picture of me at 39 weeks (my belly is really big now):

Mere! You look so cute! I wish I could see you in the flesh before you have your little one. I can't wait to see her (and the revelation of her name). I miss you and want to come visit you so badly! I'm praying for you, Brandon, and Baby Dixon. :)
