Each year around this time, the Swiss bring their cows down from grazing in the mountains, before it gets too cold. In a town near us called St. Cergue, they turn this event into quite the parade. People come from all over our region to watch the cows march by. Here we are waiting for the cows with our friends:
Some of the cows are even decked out in flowered headresses:
We also were able to hear some alpine horns play:
Here is a video of the cows to give you a better idea:After our fun times with the cows, we went back to our friends' house for their son Zach's 2-year-old birthday party. We had a great time, and the cake was delicious!
While we were there, we also played some games on the Wii. Here is Brandon attempting the "Tree" (from the yoga game). He loves the Wii!
