Little Miss Chatter-Box

As of a few weeks ago, Katherine's vocabulary has exploded! Granted, she does not say all of the words perfectly, but I love it that now when I say a word, she will at least attempt to repeat it. Her favorite word is "shoe(s)" which she actually does say very well. She will repeat it over and over again, never seeming to tire of the word, as she goes around the house in search of shoes. Some of her other favorites are "da" (for daddy), "flower" (which she loves to pick), and "baby" (which she uses to refer to anyone under the age of about 3 I think). She has attempted such difficult words as "waffle" and "yogurt" and has gotten pretty close. I am so thankful for the way she is growing and developing and am excited about being able to communicate better with my little girl.
