The Birthday Boy!

So yesterday was Brandon's 29th birthday. He's been telling me that he needs to make the most of this next year before he turns 30. I think that having a baby should do the trick...he is definitely in for a lot of new adventures. Of course, he was thinking more along the lines of doing a flip on his snowboard...we'll see.

Brandon has such a servant's heart. He is always doing little things for others, especially for me. For his birthday yesterday, he decided he wanted to make a Tex-Mex lunch for everyone in his lab. So we worked together Wednesday night to get everything ready, and I think his co-workers really liked the meal. It was a lot of work, but Brandon especially enjoyed it. On top of having a servant's heart, he is a fantastic cook!

As a contribution to my wonderful husband of 4 and a half years, I thought I would post some pictures from his younger days:

Brandon as a baby...how cute!
Wow - he looks like he already knew he would one day live in Switzerland.
Trying to impress the ladies on his HotWheels bike.
Brandon in his "coat of many colors", as he likes to call it, with his brother Jeremy.
This is one of my favorites. He is pretending to be a weatherman at school.
With his best friend Jeff in high school.
Brandon on a camping trip in college.

If Brandon has made a positive impact on your life in some way, please post a comment on this blog for him to read. We love you, Brandon...happy birthday!

Happy Birthday, Brandon! Hope you have a great day and can manage some sweet half pipe maneuvers.

Bill and I are so thankful that Brandon is our son-in-law. He was such a great host when we visited you both last summer in Switzerland, and he has now taught us the finer points of gelato consumption!
We love you, Brandon(and we love you too, Meredith and baby Dixon!)
